Dr. Danish received his M.D. Psychiatry and M.B.B.S. degrees from Rajiv Gandhi University of Medical Sciences (Bangalore, Karnataka). He has worked at the Manipal Multispeciality Hospitals Bangalore, following which has continued to undergo regular training from prestigious institutes from all over the world. He has trained in Addiction Psychiatry from NIMHANS (National Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore), Cognitive Behavior Therapy from Pennsylvania (USA) and contemporary Neuropsychiatry practices from Harvard Medical School (USA). Dr. Danish serves as Assistant Professor and Head of Department of Psychiatry at AFSMS & RC and is a member of Indian Psychiatric Society as well as American Psychiatric Society.

Dr. Danish uses a holistic approach with his patients and brings his expertise at Sanctum Wellness and Healing to treat varied behavioral health problems from Addiction disorders to Depression, Anxiety, Personality disorders and OCD. Dr. Danish’s approach to treatment starts with patient listening, followed by a complete and thorough evaluation of symptoms. He works towards a personalized plan to meet his patient’s needs and goals. Dr. Danish embodies the spirit of Sanctum Wellness and Healing, delivering a consistent hands-on experience that benefits the overall wellness of each and every patient. He understands that although patients may be diagnosed with the same condition, each patient can respond very differently to treatment.

Dr. Niharika Singh received her MBBS degree from Kurukshetra University, following which she went on to complete MD Psychiatry from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. During her residency program she pursued her thesis on psychosocial factors and personality profile of early and late onset Alcohol dependence syndrome. With a view to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of mental health, she then continued to train regularly with premier institutes such as Harvard Medical School - McLean Hospital (USA) in Mind-Body Medicine, Beck Institute (USA) in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, NIMHANS (Bangalore) in Addiction Psychiatry, Behaviour Medicine, Clinical Neurophysiology and Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation and has completed Fellowship in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation from Duke University (USA).

She has served as Assistant Professor and Head of Department of Psychiatry at World College of Medical Sciences & Research and has headed a multidisciplinary team as the In-charge of Opioid Substitution Therapy Center under NACO (a division of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India). She has worked as consultant Psychiatrist, Paras Hospitals Gurgaon (2015-2019) and Sanctum Wellness and Healing (since 2019).

Errol is a residential counselor at Sanctum and has an experience of almost 2 decades in recovery as a counselor. He has previously contributed at multiple organizations and helped innumerable people suffering from addiction live lives in recovery.

He has prior experience of social worker in Sahara rehabilitation services and Johns Hopkins institute (USA). He has provided hands on care at Family health international and help and heal dual diagnosis center. Errol has been in Sanctum staying with the clients, taking daily group sessions on 12 step program and being a constant support in the clients’ and their family’s lives. He truly believes that staying in recovery and changing lives of others has been his true calling.

Sudipta is a trauma-informed and queer affirmative clinical psychologist registered under the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and trained in a variety of psychotherapeutic modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy (ST). She has had 7 years of formal education in the field of psychology and an M.Phil degree specific to clinical psychology.

She tries to bring a person-centred and compassion-focused approach to her therapy to build a safe space. She enjoys collaboratively working with her clients to develop tools, and adopt new ways of living a value-driven, rich, and meaningful life.

Having had more than 3 years of experience in dealing with a range of psychological disorders such as Anxiety, Depression, OCD, C-PTSD, Grief and Loss, Interpersonal difficulties, Childhood abuse and neglect, she believes in the dual diagnostic approach to Addiction, working on uncovering and treating the underlying aetiology of it instead of just focusing on symptomatic management.

Kanan Sharma is a licensed clinical psychologist with seven years of formal education in the field. She is trained to work in various psychiatric settings, including inpatient and outpatient departments. Proficient in building case formulations and conducting various psychological assessments, including IQ tests, personality assessments, and neuropsychological evaluations, she is well-versed in addressing a wide range of mental health concerns.

During her training, she provided evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). Her dedication to contributing valuable insights in her field was evident from the outset of her academic journey when she received the Best Research Paper Award early in her education. Building upon this achievement, she has authored three research papers published in UGC-approved journals.What sets her apart is her commitment to unravelling the stories that define individuals. Kanan firmly believes that our experiences shape our perceptions, behaviors, and emotional well-being. By delving into these narratives with empathy and genuineness, she helps individuals gain insight and develop healthier coping mechanisms.

Anasuya Dasgupta is a trauma informed therapist registered under the Rehabilitation Council of India. She uses an eclectic approach to my therapy, which is mainly  derived from CBT, DBT, ACT,  EFT, somatic  techniques and Internal Family Systems. She has 7 years of educational experience in the field, dealing with disorders like Anxiety, Depression, OCD, Somatoform Disorders, Substance use Disorder, Personality Disorders and C-PTSD. She believes in creating a client-centred, reflective space which is exploring and making meaning out of the client's lived narratives of emotions, attachments and survival patterns.
